Leonard Henry Bougerolle

On April 14, 2024 Leonard Bougerolle of Ponoka passed away at the Ponoka Hospital & Care Centre after a courageous struggle with cancer, at the age of 84 years.

Leonard is survived by his wife Marie; children Bernice Whipple (Perry), Darrel Bougerolle, Lyn-Brian Bougerolle (Rose), Darren Bougerolle (Bonnie), and Dinelda Hoogkamp (Harmen); seventeen grandchildren: Steven Whipple (Daziel), David Whipple, Michael Whipple, Gregory Bougerolle (Stephanie), Samantha Bougerolle, Kyla Bougerolle, Lecia Nickoriuk, Katie Hoogkamp, Dusten Hoogkamp, Hailey Hoogkamp, Heather Hoogkamp, Alex Morris “Bougerolle”, Nate Hunter (Mandy), Dillon Bougerolle (Holly), Brittany Jones, Tye Kettles, and Maxum Kettles; nine great-grandchildren: Callie Bonertz, Emersyn Whipple, Eisley Whipple, Payton Whipple, Adelia Whipple, Sydney Guertin-Bougerolle, Ryley Guertin-Bougerolle, Presley Guertin-Bougerolle, and Xavier Bougerolle; his brothers Armand Bougerolle (Karen) and Earl Bougerolle (Diane); as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Leona Bougerolle and his son Wade Bougerolle.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Leonard’s life will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024 with the Interment Service following at the Forest Home Cemetery.
