Dave is survived by his loving mother, Mary Stoney (née Wildcat Piché); brothers, Ken (Karen), John (Judy); sisters, Rose Makinaw, Corrine Stoney, Anne, Lorna Stoney, Maureen (Lee) and Tricia; uncle, Alec Piché, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews that were like children to him. Dave is also survived by his custom adopted siblings, Patricia Goodwill Littlechild (Marvin) and Emiline Roan (Joe Cardinal).
Dave was predeceased by his father, George Fraser; paternal grandparents, Harry and Mary Suzanne Maskekopwat (née Potts) Fraser; maternal grandparents, David "Pisiw" Wildcat Piché, Margaret Blandion Wildcat and sister Gladys Wildcat Stoney.
