Violet (Aaserude) Rhine

Violet Rhine (nee Aaserude) of Alix, Alberta was born May 2, 1938 in Terrace, British Columbia and entered into rest on January 12, 2018, age 79 years.  Violet is survived by her children Anita Rust (Steve Hall), Erica Rust, Lucy Rust (Bob Livermore), Karl Rust, Melody (Victor) Luikham, Linda (Bob) Palmer, Beverly (Ernie) Knopp, Dan Rhine, David (Heather) Rhine, Gloria (Dallas) Seeley, and Wade Rhine; grandchildren Cory, Aaron, Justin, Jared and Naomi and many more; siblings Byron (Rose) Aaserude, Vern (Nora) Aaserude; as well as many other relatives and friends. Violet was predeceased by her husband Perry Jr. Rhine, son Erich Michael Rust, parents Emil and Mary Aaserude, siblings Marie, Bernie, Trudy, Jackie, Agnes and Florence and the father of her older children, Erich Rust.

Violet was a resident of Alix, Alberta for the last twenty years. She was born in Terrace but moved to Alberta when she was just one year old and spent the rest of her life here. She was first and foremost a wonderful mother who nurtured her children and opened her door to anyone who came into her life. Her love for God, her family and friends were the center of her life. Her uplifting smile, generosity and positive nature will live forever in our hearts.

Violet's funeral will be held in the Lacombe Community Seventh-day Adventist Church (5810-45 Ave. Lacombe, AB) at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018.  Memorial Donations can be made to the Lacombe Community SDA Church.
