To the family, I was very saddened to read about Ursula's passing. I brought meals to her on occasions. I was the owner of Runway Lunch at the time and so didn't know her long but she was warm, friendly and very concerned about others. I then chanced to encounter her several times in my job at the Salvation Army. She would ask me to pick up some donations from her knitting and her closet as well as donations for the food bank. She worried that the cupboards might be bare and would call to check. My sincerest sympathy and I was glad I had an opportunity to meet her.

Kathy, thanks so much for your kind words. Mom was so happy to be able to help with donations. She did so much knitting in the last couple years and I'm happy you were able to accept her items and pass them on to someone who needed as warm scarf.
