Tina Taekema

In loving memory of Tina Taekema

Tina, was taken into the loving arms of Jesus on July 28, 2017, in the Foothills Medical Center in Calgary, surrounded by her Loving Husband and Children.
Tina was born March 15, 1956.  She was married to her loving husband Gerry Taekema for 39 years and was blessed with 4 wonderful children and 19 beautiful grandchildren.  She was a dedicated Wife to her Husband, Mother to her Children and Grand Mother to her Grandchildren.  Her caring heart and compassion to help others was her true life calling. Tina’s family was her greatest accomplishment, which showed in her everyday life.  Those blessed to have her in their lives, know how truly missed she will be.  Her Love for her Savior was reflected to all that knew her.   We as a family feel comfort knowing that she is in the loving arms of her Saviour and we will cherish our memories of her every day.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gerry Taekema, her 4 children; son Gerry Taekema Jr(Jamie), daughter Christina (Jordan) Vreugdenhil, daughter Tami (John) DeVries, daughter Lori (Ben) Morskate, her 19 grandkids Alanna, Jace, Kadence, Keithen, Emma, Linden, Kayla, Chelsea, Corey, Lee, Jamie, Joey, Trevor, Anna, Reuben, Troy, Zack, Brad and Tyra.
Her love for her savior was reflected in all those who knew her well, to those she will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be held August 3 at 1:00 at the Lacombe Pentecostal Church.
