I was deeply saddened to hear of Susan's death. She was a close friend and a fellow musician. We played together many Wednesday nights as Jammers who played for dances at the Wetaskiwin Senior Centre. We played also at the Wetaskiwin Long Term Care for many years. I enjoyed many phone calls with Susan and several sessions of just the two of us working out some tunes. I knew she had health issues and regret that I hadn't talked to her for over a week--but-thought I had time. She was a great woman, fully of compassion and bravery. I will miss her a lot, as will the other members of the Wetaskiwin Jammers/musicians. Audrey Sedgwick
