Richard “Richie” Frank Cornelssen passed away in Rocky Mountain House on September 22, 2017 at the age of 41 years.
Rich will be lovingly remembered by his family: son Zack; step-daughters Katelin and Anna and granddaughter Payton; his mother Nancy (Doug) and father Carl (Geri); brother Darcy (Kara), Brooklyn, Lilli, Lacee, and Brienna; sister Amber (James), Logan and Regan; brother Brian (Carleigh), Chase, Dayna, Raegan, and Kenndra; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Earl & Irma Cornelssen and Walter & Alma Garrett; uncles Ray and David; aunt Nancy Anne; and cousin Derek.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Ponoka at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted. A Trust Fund is being set up for Richie’s son, Zack.
