It is with heavy hearts we announce that Merton Rathgeber of Yeoford, AB passed away January 31, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Merton is survived by his special friend, Gwenne; children, Clark (Jenny), Brian (Michelle), Dale, LuAnn, and Linda; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary; one brother, Alfred; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends. Merton was predeceased by his wife, Jean; his parents; his son, Kim; and nine brothers and sisters.
Donations in Merton's memory are gratefully accepted to the Battle Lake Baptist Church, or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
A Funeral Service will be held at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment at Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery.
