Maurice is survived by his mother Mariah Rabbit; daughters Sharon (Jeremy), Nadine (Jason), Shaleen, and Delanie (Brandon); sons Albert, Wydell (Deanne), Joseph (Mandy), Curtis (Dana), Payton, Leon, and Harley; adopted sons Rick "Yukon" DryGeese and Lil Jay Soosay; 35 grandchildren; 1 great chapan; brothers and sisters Melvin (Geraldine), Richard (Karen), Adrian, Shirley, Donna (George), Lavenia (Clayton), Pearlene, and Leeann; adopted brother Melvin Potts (Linda); adopted sister Phyllis Potts (Charles); aunts Marlene Cabry and Mary Rabbit; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends.

Maurice was predeceased by his wife Melvina; father Joe Rabbit; son Winston Rabbit, daughter Jennifer; granddaughter Shyla Rabbit; maternal grandparents John and Nancy Cabry; paternal grandparents John and Rosie Rabbit; brother Troy; sisters Velma Cattleman, Lorraine Rabbit, and Rema Rabbit; brothers-in-law Leo Cattleman and Walter Red Bear; and aunt Emma Rabbit.
