Joana was born in Sa˜o Miguel, Acores, Portugal on January 12, 1928.
She is survived by her children, John (Patricia) of Wetaskiwin, AB, Grace Treau of Carstairs, AB, Joe (Nancy) of Wetaskiwin, AB; grandchildren, Christopher (Bonnie), Jeremy (Jenn), Andrew (Erika), Zachary (Janelle), Daniel, William, Justina; great-grandchildren, Thane, Briyana, Tia, Rylee, Aria, Alexis, Jaxon and Zander; sister, Filomena Andrè of Toronto, ON; brother, Arthur (Maria) Raposo of Cambridge, ON as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Joana was predeceased by her husband, Fernando; parents, Francisco and Maria Raposo; in-laws, Jose and Justina Branco; son-in-law, Roger Treau and brother-in-law, Manuel André.
In Joana’s memory, donations are gratefully accepted to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Time, Talent, and Treasure Fund.
