Mackenzie passed away peacefully in his sleep at Red Deer, Alberta on October 20, 2016 at the age of 13.
He is survived by his loving family; parents, Mike & Kathy; siblings, Ryan (Nicole McConnell), Chole, Morgan, Hannah, Adam; nephew, Jacob; grandfather, Frank Besse; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; as well as his special reading friend, Courtney Jones.
Mackenzie was predeceased by his grandparents, Horace & Olive Hawkes and Alice Besse.
Memorial Service: Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin.
