Lorill Wingrave (nee Franklin)

May 27, 1925 - April 22, 2016

Surrounded in love by her children, Lorill Wingrave died peacefully at Long Term Care in Wetaskiwin Hospital on April 22, 2016. Born May 27, 1925 in London, England, Lorill came to Alberta in May 1946 as a War Bride married to Barrie Wingrave. She has lived in Wetaskiwin for 45 years. Lorill is predeceased by her parents, John and Irene, brother David and her husband. She is survived by her five children, Carell Wingrave, (grandchildren - Kristine, David, and Angela), Dorothy (John) Alberda (grandchildren - David and Brenda), Allen (Denise) Wingrave (grandchildren - Renee and Sean), Verna (Lorne) Ruskowsky (grandchildren - Sheryl, Laura and Ian), Janice (Darren) Wingrave (grandchildren - Paula and Warren), twenty- two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Schlenther and the Long Term Care Unit Staff for their constant compassionate care of our Mother.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Wetaskiwin Legion.
