Kathleen Grace Osbaldeston (nee Anderson) passed away on July 12, 2016 in Lacombe, AB at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her parents David and Emma (Befus) Anderson, and husband Roy. She will be greatly missed by daughter Carol Morton (Robert), grandchildren Trudy Slaght (Keith), Wayne (Jeanie), David (Brianne), and great-grandchildren Janeen, Monty, Shasta, Jillian, Jonas, Quintin, and Darcy.
Mom was a dedicated LPN and worked for many years at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary before relocating to the Colonel Belcher Vet Hospital where she worked until retirement. She loved life and her family and enjoyed all family celebrations. Mom enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening, and had a passion for knitting. She made innumerable pairs of mittens for the homeless, and many sweaters, afghans, and hats for her family. Strong, driven, independent, and sometimes stubborn, but also tender, compassionate, devoted, and thoughtful, Mom was a very special lady and much loved by her family!
