"Oh, For 50 cents!" - a phrase I will remember fondly. Always brought a smile to our faces and still will. Julie was one of a kind in her combination of humor, kindness, loyalty and honesty - including the above phrase. Myself and many others will miss her terribly. I am so thankful to have known her - a great lady and a wonderful colleague. My thoughts, prayers and hugs go out to her family , friends and colleagues.

My deepest sympathies to Julie's family. I truly believe God puts where we are meant to be and although I only knew Julie for a short time she taught us how to laugh and humble ourselves. I will miss our conversations about patience. I wish we could have had more time but God needed his angel back. I am thankful for the love and caring Julie shared with us her co workers and she will be forever in out thoughts and hearts. May God be with you the family at this time and know that Julie is just a memory away.

Warm, caring, and a beacon of optimism where she worked, Julie was a constant source of positive energy which always lifted what could sometimes be a long hard day at our office. Her outstanding excellence and professionalism can only be matched by her honestly and kindness which will never be forgotten by her friends and family here at 311.

It is so sad to hear the news of Julie's passing. I still remember her unrestrained laughter and easy smile from the days we used to have sleep overs at your farm. There will be an empty space forever left in your hearts, and I offer you my sincere condolences.

Hugs,
Linda

I was shocked to hear of the passing of Julie at such a young age. I knew her from her "hostel days" in Banff in the early 1990s. We worked together, lived together, hung out with the rest of the staff, celebrated special events and saw each other through not so fun times. I always admired her resilience and positive outlook on life through the various challenges that came her way. I will remember her fondly and will try to notify as many people as possible from that "era" of the sad news. I am sending my prayers to her whole family, some I met when they came to visit her when she lived in Banff, and to Robert who I only met once briefly when they were passing through. My deepest sympathies to everyone...

Very sad to hear of this unfortunate and premature loss. Julie was a dear someone we met and embraced as part of the transplant family and the games we all attended to cheer those on with organ transplants and we all loved each other like family. So tragic and such a shock to hear about. So many forever memories of Julie that will live on forever. May she rest in peace and know that she WILL be remembered.

Message from Jerry, Brenda, Gina and Jayson Shantz
July 17, 2017 9:45 PM

We were greatly saddened with the loss of a good friend and neighbour. Julie was a real hero. She took her challenges head on and strived to be the best she could be. Julie went to school with Gina and Jayson Shantz and of course, other neighbourhood kids. They had many great childhood memories. Some more adventurous than others.
We want the Anderson family to know that we will always remember Julie with fond memories. Our hearts go out to you.
