With sadness we announce that Julia Mae Lundrigan passed away at the Wetaskiwin Hospital at the age of 88 years. Mae was born in Tilton, Newfoundland, and was one of five children in her family. Mae raised four children; she was an amazing baker and a cook. She loved food, especially traditional Newfoundland meals. Mae loved to socialize, play BINGO and other games, and liked to be active in her home and community.
Mae is survived by four children, Barb Clarke, Sandra (Al) Hutson, Judy (Rod) Lundrigan, and Wade(Kim) Lundrigan; her grandchildren, Cindy, Brian, Shannon, A.J., Elizabeth, David, Shaun, Tabitha, Christopher and Lisa; twenty one great-grandchildren, as welll as great-great grandchildren.
Donations in Mae's memory are gratefully accepted to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
A service will be held at a later date in Ontario.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Chapel.
