April 24, 1923 ~ May 29, 2016

Jean passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Camrose, Alberta at the age of 93.

She is survived by her children, Janet (David) Hoyt and their daughters, Sarah Hoyt, Elizabeth (Ian) Surdhar; Ron (Rhonda) Scott and their daughters, Erin Montemurro and her daughter, Alice, Laurel (Nick) Kary; Cheryl (Allen) Deckert and their daughters, Jessica (Sunil) Sookram and their children, Findlay, Scarlett and Imogen, Rebecca Deckert (Jason Mann); sisters-in-law, Josephine Moonen and Leona Scott as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and former students.

Jean was predeceased by her loving husband, Gerald; parents, James & Winifred Harvey; sister, Phyllis Cummings.

Funeral Service: Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Church, 5515 51 Avenue, Wetaskiwin.
