Florence Nettie Smith

Florence passed away on December 17, 2017 at the age of 102 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her family; children, Carole Ferri of Wetaskiwin, Douglas (Vicki) Smith of Yeoford, Vance (Darlene) Smith of Okotoks; grandchildren, Teresa-Gayle Ferri (Chris Antulov) of St. Albert, Anita Ferri (Pete Steblyk) of St. Albert, Gina Ferri (Larry Hawkeye) of Edmonton, Gregory (Diane) Smith of Sylvan Lake, Tracy (Barry) Schultz of Calgary, Michael (Susan) Ferri of Toronto; sisters, Bernice McKay, Phyllis Ryckman of Creston BC; 13 great grandchildren, Shayla, Shane, Nicholas, Stephen, Vance, Alex, Natasha, Kimberly, Cameron, Christopher, Karleen, Vance; as well as four great-great grandchildren, Amelia, Alaina, Harrison and Rebekah.

Florence was predeceased by her husband, Walden; parents, Marshall and Nettie Cameron; sister, Dorothy Hern;  brothers, Marshall and Alvin Cameron; grandson, Toren Vance Smith.

A private family memorial service will be held in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, with interment taking place at the Mount Clare Cemetery in Winfield, Alberta at a later date. 

Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Autism Society Alberta or to the charity of donor’s choice.
