On July 28, 2017 Eleanor Marion Fontaine passed away at the age of 89 years.
A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Eleanor will be fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory; daughters, Marilyn (Stan) Kroening, Sandy Morrow, Debbie (Jerry) Thompson; son, Eugene (Kim) Fontaine; brother, Walter (Kay) Kruse; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family members and many friends.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Agnes Kruse; sister, Hazel Hedrick and brother, Vern Kruse.
A time of remembrance, and in honour of Eleanor, a gathering of family and friends will take place at the Millet Legion, 5156-50 Avenue, Millet, Alberta on September 2, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
Cremation has taken place and Eleanor will be laid to rest at the Millet Cemetery.
In Eleanor’s memory, donations are gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
