He is survived by his children Armand Ouellette (Geraldine), Sharon Ouellette (Tony Buffalo), Rene Ouellette (Norine Buffalo), Gene Ouellette (Jennifer Jackson), Shannon Soosay (Darren), Candace Little (Kyle Sande), and Richard French (Joanne); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; godson Neil Ledoux; brother Raymond Ouellette; former spouse Clara Little Masuskapoe; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Pierre Ouellette and Marie Laure (Sasseville); brothers Andrew, Maurice, and Henri Ouellette; sister Marguerite Ouellette; and Beatrice Ouellette Bruno.
