It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Dollie after a courageous battle with cancer. Dollie passed away on August 10, 2017 at the age of 76. Her strong spirit kept her active in family life and in her community. She had a deep love for farming, gardening, bird watching and greatly valued time with family. Dollie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband Lorne; brothers Alvin (Eileen), Richard (Marie), Larry (Ardis), Fred (Connie), Dennis (Shelly); sister Sharon (Randy); children Terry (Sue), Trudy (Gus), Wendy (Doug), Susan (Terry), Bruce (Jeanette), Mike (Kenna), Rex (Jeannette), Karen (Kelly); 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives, and friends. Dollie was predeceased by her mother Lila; father William; stepmother Vera, and brother Lyle.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18th, 2017 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Wetaskiwin, AB.
