Dianne was born in Hay Lakes, Alberta, the youngest of four children of Fred and Agda Miller.
After attending the Hay Lakes School, Dianne moved to Edmonton to study Nursing, and graduated in 1966. She then moved to Bashaw to work in the hospital. It was here she met Norm and they were married on October 25, 1969. Norm and Dianne were blessed with three children: Rob, Sandy, and Scott.
Dianne loved to keep busy. She loved to be in her garden, bake, sew, read, and care for all the beloved pets in her life. But mostly she loved to be with her family and was so happy to spend time with her grandkids; they meant the whole world to her.
Dianne leave to mourn, Norm; their children Rob (Sherry) Schultz, Sandy (Chad) Grigo, and Scott Schultz; her grandchildren Carly, Billy, Jake, and Max; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister Arlene; brothers Harold and Rodney; her niece Shelley; and her great-nephew Lars.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the M.S. Society of Canada.
The Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Bashaw on Friday, June 17 at 1:00 p.m. with the Interment Service taking place at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
