Colin Patrick Raemer

Colin Patrick Raemer was born on July 2, 1953 in Camrose, Alberta and passed away on July 10, 2016 in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 63 years. Colin was a business man for 35 years, most recently as owner of Bashaw Agencies and Raemer Agencies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing poker and spending time at Pelican Point. He also loved to visit and socialize with family, clients and friends. Vancouver Island was another favourite place where he loved to go beach combing and fishing. He took pride in remodelling his house at Bowser Bay. Colin was fond of MG cars and cruising to the beach. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Jason (Karen) and their children Summer and Autumn; his son Vinie (Elissa); his brother Scott (Margaret) and their daughters Leslie (Jeff) and Renee (Mark); his father Mac (Edith); his brother Tom (Brenna) and their daughters Trish and Karen; his sister Zoe (Liza); as well as great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother Pat and his wife Brenda. An Interment of ashes will take place at the Bashaw Cemetery on Friday, July 15. 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Colin’s life will follow in the Bashaw Community Centre on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta. All donations will be matched by Cenovus Energy.
