Bernice V. Nahorney

Bernice was born on February 19, 1934 in Shamrock, Saskatchewan and entered into rest on November 18, 2015 in Lacombe at the age of 81 years. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Lorence of Ponoka; sons Barry (Diane) of Athabasca, Kerry (Darlene) of Edmonton, Todd (Gwen) of Sherwood Park, Brad (Shelley) of Lac La Biche, Trevor (Juanita) of Ponoka, and Landon of Ponoka; daughters Cindy Thomson (Brian Brownlee) of Sundre and Rae (Russ) Nielsen of Lacombe; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Evelyn (Doug) Hawes of Faulkland, BC, Myrtle Davis of Texas, Elvina (Mel) Stearns of Lacombe, Marion McKenzie of Mayerthorpe, and Frannie (Burt) Vanbemmel of Chatham, ON; brothers-in-law Albert (Bunty) Nahorney of Edmonton and Don (Marcia) Nahorney of Powell River, BC; sisters-in-law Helen (Mike) Humenny of Quill Lake, SK and Joanne (Vern) Kraushar of Edmonton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents, brother Audi and her sister Donetta.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Lacombe Community Seventh-day Adventist Church at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015.
