Peacefully on February 19, 2017 Abbie’s life came to an end. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Jill as well as his children, Abbie-Lee, Chris and Sherri. At Abbie’s request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation or to S.C.A.R.S (Second Chance Animal Rescue Society - Box 3045, Athabasca, AB T9S 2B9).
I would like to thank the nurses on Unit 43 at the Wetaskiwin Hospital, the nurses and doctors in Emergency, Gabrielle (Lab), Tracy (Ultrasound), and Baker Funeral Chapel - especially Allie and Morris for their help. A very special Thank You to Dr. De Wet for always being there and caring.
