It was then that the Baptist Church sponsored the Lange family's move to Camrose, Alberta. On June 20, 1945 at the age of 20 years, Agatha married Donald Dickau and moved to a farm west of Wetaskiwin. Together they built a dairy farm which they operated until Donald passed away due to a car accident in 1972. Agatha then moved to Wetaskiwin where she worked in a bakery before beginning her time working for a mobile home assembly line. It was here that she met Clarence, who was her foreman at the time. Their romance became a marriage in July 1974. Agatha was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting family, friends and guest pastors at Calvary Baptist Church. For many years she was a member of the church choir (where she had many solos), church ladies group, and assisted in the church kitchen.
